The line saw comics and fashion collide in a story of futuristic love and the battle between nature and industry set against the backdrop of New York City imaginary future circa 2089. The 15 piece collection included jackets, hoodies, trousers and t-shirts.

 Separate 2089 Men's lines were created for the Asian, European and North American market. Window displays of Pope’s work for DKNY were found in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai.
