Artist Rafael Grampá created a series of patriotic murals for Budweiser as part of the beer brand´s America campaign across the USA.
"Budweiser invited me to reinterpret the American spirit of patriotism, freedom, power and hope.”, says Grampá.
“I was given total freedom to create three art pieces that will be reproduced and painted on huge murals in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco."
In conjunction with the Summer 2016 Olympics, the focal point of the campaign was the hand-painted murals. They showed a metallic replica of the new iconic can atop a background of watercolor clouds paired with Americana imagery. The paintings were surrounded by nationalistic symbols and represented the cornerstones of the American identity.
